One of the "most popular trails" in Zoldo of Valley

Trail 556, which leads from Malga Pioda to Refuge Coldai (2,132 m), is not only the seventh stage of the Alta via n.1, but also one of the most popular trails among mountain enthusiasts in this Dolomites valley, both for its diverse landscapes and the magnificent views that open up towards Mount Pelmo and the Civetta mountain range below. It's a 360° experience that even our four-legged friends can enjoy.

Alta via n.1 is a hiking trail approximately 125 km long that starts at Lake Braies (South Tyrol) and ends in Belluno (Veneto). It passes through the stunning landscapes and breathtaking views of the Braies Dolomites, Fanes and Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Zoldo Valley, Agordino, and Belluno.

Every day at the Refuge, simple, authentic dishes are prepared with traditional flavors and local ingredients. A well-deserved reward after a long hike.
