Refuge Pramperet

LOCATION: APPROACH
From Forno di Zoldo, take the Val Prampér road until you reach the large parking lot at Pian de la Fopa (1,200 m above sea level).
ROUTE: Climb the road (partially recently paved) with CAI trail signpost no. 523 to Pian dei Palui (1,480 m), then continue on the easy dirt road that leads to Malga Prampér (1,540 m).
Alternatively, you can take the unnumbered trail that branches off from the road about a kilometer after the start (just after entering the Dolomiti Bellunesi Park) and climbs through the woods to Pian dei Palui. From here, you can continue on the dirt road or continue along the trail (be careful when crossing the stream) until you emerge behind Malga Prampér.
The trail that usually leads to the refuge is the one that from the mountain hut proceeds directly along CAI trail no. 523. After crossing a large area of ​​gravel (material washed down from the 1994 flood), it winds its way up through the woods and, after passing a wayside shrine, after a final uphill stretch, emerges into the wide grassy basin of Pra' de la Vedova, overlooked by the imposing Cima Prampér (2,409 m). After crossing the beautiful green meadow, you reach the Pramperét refuge in just a few minutes.
