Stage 19 of the 2026 Giro d'Italia
The 19th stage of the 2026 Giro d'Italia will be one of the great Dolomite spectacles of this edition: 151 km from Feltre to Alleghe with over 5,000 meters of elevation gain and a grueling sequence of climbs: Passo Duran, Coi, Forcella Staulanza, Passo Giau, and Passo Falzarego.
The passage through Mareson and Pécol, in front of HOTEL MAÈ and Residence Panorama, is expected between 12:40 and 1:40 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026, immediately after one of the most spectacular sections of the Coi climb towards Palafavera and Staulanza.
The route will pass through:
- Brusadàz
- Coi
- Mareson
- Pécol
- Palafavera
before tackling Forcella Staulanza and then the final great climbs of the Giau and Falzarego.
For those who want to watch live:
- It's best to arrive very early because the roads are closed several hours before the race;
- the hairpin bends between Coi and Mareson are among the best spots to see the riders up close;
- the weather at high altitude can change rapidly, so it's best to bring warm, waterproof clothing.
