The route is quite long, but easy, and the roads are beautiful and pleasant, with a variety of valleys to admire: the Val Primiero with San Martino di Castrozza and Lake Paneveggio, the Val Fiemme, the Val d'Ora near Trento, the Val Sugana with Belluno and the Val Zoldo.

From Alleghe, the route heads towards the Fedaia Pass, beneath the Marmolada, then descends into the Fassa Valley, past Canazei and Val Gardena, through Alta Badia to Cortina d'Ampezzo. Circling Mount Cristallo, the route reaches Lake Misurina and finally reaches the magnificent Cadore Valley.
